EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival – Orlando, Florida August 27th – November 21st 2026*
This is my favorite festival at my favorite Disney park, and it’s easy to see why! Where else but EPCOT can you go to experience 11 different languages, cuisines, and cultures in one place? During the length of this amazing festival, that number increases to more than 25! Travel around the park collecting stamps in your festival passport when you order at each booth. There are also concerts, scavenger hunts for kids, and more unique experiences! My best advice for this event is; come early and hungry, but pace yourself and don’t forget to drink water.
*These dates have not yet been confirmed by Disney and are an estimate of when the festival will be held.

Oktoberfest – Munich, Germany September 19th – October 4th 2026
The 191st celebration of Oktoberfest kicks off mid September and runs through the first few days of October. This legendary event is more than just 1 liter steins and soft pretzels! There’s live music, dancing, rides, games, traditional foods and more! Experience the ultimate festival of German culture.

New England Fall Foliage – Late September through early October
A must for any fall lover to experience their Pumpkin Spice Latte fueled dream! Imagine hills and mountains covered in deep reds, golden yellows, fiery oranges, and every shade in between. There are many locations and ways to sojourn through this lovely corner of the US. You can choose from planning a road trip, river cruise, train, or any combination of the three.

European Christmas Markets – Various Locations and dates from November through December
Is there anything more magical than the soft glowing lights of Yuletide? Celebrate the coming holiday season as you navigate the many shop stalls. Check everyone off your gift list, and add to your souvenirs. Sip on Glühwein, a spiced wine served warm, and snack on freshly made gingerbread. Play carnival games and enjoy rides that bring out your inner child. There are too many Christmas markets to visit them all!
You can choose a road trip, train, or even a river cruise to visit several magical markets. Perfect for every kind of traveler, Christmas markets make a wonderful family reunion destination! Each market offers something different, what will you discover?

Total Solar Eclipse – Iceland, Atlantic Ocean, and August 12th 2026
I have experienced totality during the US solar eclipses of 2017 and 2024. I can say with confidence that this is an indescribable event! Much of the path of totality is out to sea. Taking an eclipse cruise is a great option for the best viewing. If a cruise isn’t your style, northern areas of Spain are also a possibility. Don’t forget your eclipse glasses!
